Hi, I’m Isabel.

I am a graduate of Columbia University School of Social Work with a Master of Science Degree.

I am a licensed clinician and certified school social worker with more than 20 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and young adults. I work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, emotional and behavioral challenges, and school stressors. I provide support to neurodivergent individuals and client’s who have IEPs (individualized education program). I have extensive background in collaborating with families, educators, administrators, and community service providers.

My approach is client-centered, focusing on empathy and building a therapeutic relationship, and goal-oriented, working jointly to achieve specific objectives that align with the client’s priorities. While eclectic, my foundation is evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with mindfulness practices to help clients increase their understanding of self. I provide a nonjudgemental and safe space where clients can feel comfortable, welcomed, and respected in the therapeutic process. My other passions include spending time with my family and dogs, relaxing at home with movie nights, going out to dinner, and traveling to explore different cultures and parts of the world whenever I can.
