Hi, I’m Kim.

I am a dedicated Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant with extensive experience supporting students in achieving their full potential. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from William Paterson University and a Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning with a concentration in Reading from Nova Southeastern University. I have certifications in Elementary Education, Teacher of Students with Disabilities, and Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant.

With close to 20 years in the field of education, I have worked with students ranging from preschool through high school in a variety of educational settings. I have spent over a decade as a special education teacher, where I provided individualized, multi-sensory instruction and worked collaboratively with families and school teams. In my current role, I conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop tailored recommendations, and help guide families through the special education process.

I am passionate about helping families gain a clear understanding of their child’s unique learning profile. I believe that informed and empowered families play a key role in a child’s success both academically and beyond. My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and focused on ensuring each child receives the support needed to thrive.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy spending time with my two daughters, staying active, and creating hand-knit blankets.
